Funny day for QQQ. QQQ was up a little for the day while the Nasdaq was down over 4%.

I have heard both the QQQ and Nasdaq are heavily influenced by the large market caps. I went to the Nasdaq site and saw that only 27 of the Nasdaq 100 were up for the day. A lot of the very large market cap stocks were down. MSFT down 11.82%, INTC down 10.96%, CSCO down 7.30%, SUNW down 4.62%, Yahoo down 1.44%, DELL down 11.75%, JDSU down 12.93%, ALTR down 7.71%. There were several large caps up. ORCL up 15.85%, VRTS up 10.87%,JNPR up 7.67%, Palm up 4.89%, CIEN up 4.02%, BRCM up 2.63%.

It is hard for me to understand how QQQ ended up for the day.
