None whatsoever. On a Con Law final exam I think you would get a big F if you predicted that the S.Ct. would even take a case like this. I believe it was a political decision made necessary by Jim Baker's verbal assault of the Fl. S.Ct. Look what it's done to the right wingers on this thread. The S.Ct. needs to reestablish the moral authority of our court system or the cost of this election will be far grater than having an imbecile for a President for 4 years. 9-0 against Bush as a slap in his face.

It is unconstitutional to change the rules of an election after the election has occurred. That is why the USSC took the case. States cannot stomp on the constitution carte blanche.
