Smaller government really means less help for the poor and struggling, as well as less protection for the environment, and cuts in education and health care.

Why do you always start there? Why don't you start with the fat pensions and benefits the beaurocrats give themselves? How about the "make work projects, the pure, unadultered pork? Who's really screwing the elderly, sick, and poor?

Hate crimes. If someone kills you or I, why should their punishment be any different because they didn't like my race?

How about political persuasion? Why doesn't that count? Or financial status? Or they just didn't like me.

Hate crimes. Hate crimes are a blatant violation of the first amendment.
