Mike,
What's your current opinion on preferred shares, in particular Meditrust's:

finance.yahoo.com

Although the company is having problems, the dividend (15%) looks pretty safe.

Mike,

I like Fernando Vargas to pull off an upset tonight against Felix Trinidad. Take the price.

Oscar De La Hoya demonstrated that Tito can be outboxed and numerous fighters have had him down (even though he always got up and KO'd them).

I think Vargas has an extremely rare combination of speed, power, boxing intelligence, confidence, and killer instinct. I think he'll overcome the huge difference in experience despite being only 22.

The biggest risk is that Don King controls Trinidad. We might get a bogus decision. All in all this is an even fight at worst, but you get a price with Vargas.
