still think this market has one hellacious rally in the near future, counter trend or whatever you want to call it, the question is from/to what level?

may just be convincing myself but 3500 is my rally to level

to come back to the trusts, after the market had crashed, it turned out their cash reserves were not going to be used to buy other stocks than their own - their primary concern was the precipitous decline in their own stocks, and they had heavily invested in each other to boot. so they wasted what cash they had to support their own stocks

Compaq announces share buy back today.

heinz...an interesting read..and if memory serves correct, those who bought "the bottom" were forced to hold until 1954 just to break even; thank God we have the Internet and everything from Instant Coffee to Instant Trading.
