Microsoft is starting to enjoy a strong recovery in corporate purchase after the Y2K lull since DecQ99, and plush with 2000 wave of products, the company is headed for one of the best profitability period. You heard this am from HP, CPQ. Microsoft itself is very confident of reporting a record 6.8Billion revenue and a record 49 - 50c in EPS. The market goes up and down. I think the Gore factor is the real downer.

Bill - CPQ's CEO said that their Thanksgiving sales were "Robust" - I think that GTW was hoping no one would notice that this is not an industry shift, just GTW eating a little dust.
