Doesn't MOT have the inside track WRT NXTL? Isn't iDEN their technology, after all? EOM

Yes, it sure would make sense for MOT to push for 1x. Nextel currently uses MOT's proprietary version of TDMA and MOT is one of the largest CDMA infrastructure companies. MOT even has some CDMA IP that is part of IS-95 and CDMA2000. Of course, MOT doesn't usually know what the hell is going on and 9 out of 10 times makes the wrong decision. I'm hopeful that this could be the 1 time that MOT decides correctly.
