Lawdog, that VERY same person who reported that, said that he had ONLY heard HALF of the argument towards the Bush people.

We have YET to hear the questions posed to the Gore people.

I too am waiting for the full tape to be played. They say they should play it in the next 15 to 30 minutes.

Listen here to history being made in the Supreme Court:

cnnradio.com

and

cnn.com

You will need the program, Real Audio to listen online.

If you first hear silence, just wait about a min or two, because the Internet version goes to dead air when they are doing the commercials on TV.

JMHO, FWIW ....

I think Bush took the federal court route, ultimately ending up in the U.S. Supreme Court, because he needed cover for the kinds of actions his campaign was invoking in Florida. I think just by filing the action, it helped to provide a cover of legitimacy as he, Baker, brother Jeb and Ambassador-elect Harris conspired to fix it so that Florida's electors could be rapidly certified.

Whose got a good answer to the below questions?

Has Texas yet certified its electors?

Why then, under such a cloud of controversy, would Florida move so quickly to certify Bush electors?
