Hey Rude *OT*

Funny you mentioned the LS430... I just received the brochure (along with a videotape) of the car by ordering it via the net from the Lexus website. I must be getting older, looking for a car with 'tomblike' quiet for long drives. My sports cars certainly don't provide that <ggg>. Anyway, this Lexus must have 1000 pounds of wiring alone, I mean rear seat heaters and massagers?? <gg> I see the Ultra package comes with silica treated glass to 'allow the rain to run off'. I'm going to check it out, although I hate the GPS systems because most of them integrate other controls (like heat) into the screen, and are an ergonomic nightmare to use. Besides, how often does one actually use it in day to day driving? In looking at the options page, it appears one has to spring for the GPS package in order to go 'Ultra'.

Good luck with the car,
John

bob...ot ot ot

good luck with the lexus....i live within walking distance of a lexus dealer, actually looked at the ls430 two days ago as i was coming back from dropping my range rover off for service.....lexus is impressive, if i decide to buy a large sedan, i would give the lexus more preference then a mercedes s500 or bmw 740.......buy a lot of pizza with the change left over from the lexus!!!!

take care..ed a.
