New sec rules seem to require this. Mike Murphy says that quarterly numbers become real clear earier because december in business terms is a real short month. I would think that given the gtw fiasco, the intc bean counters will be spending this weekend counting beans. As a matter of fact, a Rider truck just pulled up to intc hq and the disputed beans are being loaded aboard as we speak.
PS Murphy thinks upward revision for the quarter as did kumar last week. Even the csfb revision was for what 11 cents. If thats what a soft landing ultimately costs intc, is that the end of the world. Am almost ready to pull the trigger here.

Hightechhooper, <<<I really think INTC is behind the curve on this>>>

I fully agree with your complete argument, but to get Intel to react in my opinion is rather hopeless. For some reason, when it comes to this part of the business, they are maddingly obtuse.

Regards,

Mary
