I'd like to ask you a serious question or two. In the event that Gore somehow ends up being sworn in as president, what part of his agenda do you think he could possibly get accomplished in the face of the rancorous and divisive partisan fighting that this election has brought about? Do you think that a GOP controlled congress would be in any mood to grant him even a short honeymoon period? Do you think he'd have a snowballs chance in hell of getting any liberal activist judges confirmed to the Supreme Court? What possible positive outcome for your ideological perspective can you see with Gore in the White House? Do you really think it's a "prize" worth further pursuing for Gore? I'm truly curious.
