1: The USSC will most likely rule 5-4 in favor of Bush and bring some finality to the gorons plan to run amok until they get a judge somewhere to rule in their favor in such a way as to put Gore over the top.

2: If the USSC fails to bring finality to the process, the FL legislature will as there is no way the multipilcity of lawsuits and appeals will never be resolved by Dec. 18. I expect the Repub dominated legislature to act just as the Dem dominated Supreme Court did and vote to confirm the Bush elector slate along party lines.

3: Bush has been certified winner at both the original and extended deadline under FL law. The burden of proof for overturning an election is higher in the contest phase. The results are in and Bush has won.

4: 60% (and growing) believe Gore should concede including about one third of his own supporters.

That's a good start.

>>>Mitchell could not be located.<<<

Who is Mitchell? Where did he go? Why can't he be located?

>>>The room where the work was done held 18 computers linked to a database containing voter registration records; boxes containing materials from previous elections; and the desk and computer of Michael Masciani, the elections equipment technician.<<<

Let's see, now. Who was it at that early Republican press conference? James Baker? Yeah, that's the guy. Er, what was it that he was referring to regarding the genuinely good folk assisting in the four-county canvassing hand recount effort? That's right: mischief.

M-I-S-C-H-I-E-F !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

>>>Goard said it would have been impossible for the GOP workers to access the database without a password, so there was no need for a worker from her office to keep an eye on them.<<<

Oh, really? What about the in-box on the desks? What about card files? What about correspondence? What if the guys with the laptops were savvy computer-types of great hacking ability? Whose Mitchell? Where is he? Why can't they find him? Why's he missing?

OK, so these GOPwingers had a laptop. The Court should confiscate the laptop, determine the names of what voters these GOPwinger operatives tampered with, and simply elminate their votes. That's how you solve this one!

"We provided them with a chair. They sat at a table with their laptop computer.<<<

You see, they got a database on their laptops.

>>>They took the card and placed the voter registration number on that document," she said in a deposition. "I did not station an individual to be there at every moment that he was there."<<<

Of course not! They were fine, outstanding Republicans of good order and standing, much like Ms. Goard herself. So what if Mr. Gore lost a bit of equal protection in the matter becuase they didn't get their ballots sent? [NOTE: Folks, don't write back telling me it was only because Republicans neglected to include the Voter ID. There were other applications which were rejected for the same reason and Democrats, unlike the Republican voters, never got the same equal protection the Republicans got in this matter. Agreed?]
