Party..that's the second time you mentionned that optical scanner bit this afternoon...where did you get that info..would be interested in reading any articles on this..which Florida counties used optical scanners (wasn't sure any of them used it)...thanks for this interesting news

Party...the other problem not much discussed is the hankypanky which occurred between the first and second machine count, esp in PBC where thousands of Bush votes were purported to be double punched fraudulently between these machine counts....how would an optical scanner perform in the presence of fraud..would it still be able to divine the voters intention??

Wrong numbers, bad input, and faulty statistics equals SKEWED OR FIXED NUMBERS. Just for example, given the fact that all precincts, counties, states have their own preferences, you can't reliably or statistically compare any single county, or even precinct, to another. To do so would be to disenfranchise those who you are comparing to the selected baseline. Nice try, Mr. Biased. Go smoke something and come back to us with another round.
