Nope. The wild cards are still Judge Sauls, Judge Lewis and Judge Clark (Lewis and Clark, don't you love it?) (And the Biblical Saul). Any one of them can issue a ruling that gives Gore more votes than Bush.

If so, the Republicans will have to let it play out.

Does the Republican party have the power to do otherwise? Sure, but they won't.

And on that proposition I would bet a lot more than a Hershey bar with almonds.

Jeb did just the day after Harris certified -- even though a contest of the results -- was being made and Florida became one of the first states to send in its list of electors. Jeb just could not wait for the outcome of the court hearing.

What happened to brother Jeb's statement that he would recuse himself?
