Short version is that G7 approach is behavioral (looking at real world results), capable of "learning" (including from voice input) rather than requiring that all the right answers be programmed in in the first place. It's not for every use. For example, you certainly want all the right answers pre-programmed in an expert system for doing medical diagnostics; i.e., you don't want to be a guinea pig while the software "learns" how human beings tick. But it's ideal for software that going to try to "do" something (like explore Mars). Gordon
