Dear Dan: Yes, you are right ONLY applications that lacked the number due to COMPUTER ERROR in printing the FORMS were touched whether in an office or off premises. I noted last night two (dont recall their names) law professors from prestigious schools who said these suits border on FRIVOLOUS.
In my opinion all these suits being filed by attorneys are like throwing mud on the wall hoping something will stick. I think its reached the point where it is ADVERSELY EFFECTING THE USA. I would like to know if we could start filing lawsuits AGAINST THE ATTORNEYS for damages wrought in the stock market etc etc due to their frivolous suits. Wouldnt THAT be nice? How about a class action lawsuit for 200million Americans? JDN

Is this voter assistance any different than busing "The Base" to the polls -- just making it possible for all the voters to vote. I'm sure Al would approve.

Actually, this seems much like a situation where the applications might be taken to the post office for mailing and be rejected because the envelope printer left off a pre-paid postage mark . So you take them back and add stamps. Problem goes away. The mail goes through.

Hi Dan,

Thanks for taking the time to refute some of the Democratic lies being propagated on this thread. Too bad Al Gore doesn't have his own thread for them to unite together and spread their nonsense. Many Democrats are probably stupid enough to believe the nonsense or they just don't care about the truth. But given Al Gore's lack of personality it is understandable why nobody would create a positive forum for him. The man can't even win his home state where people are most familiar with his tactics. The man is a total joke. God help us if he becomes president.

Please note that applications for ballots were taken home.

I submit that if the Democrats had done that, the Republicans would be crying "Foul." Loudly.

I have to say, with every twist and turn this whole mess takes it is frightening to see the underbelly of our election process - with all of its flaws and loopholes exposed. There has got to be some reform to prevent some of this happening again.
