Sony and Panasonic are using RDRAM in their HDTV sets and set-top boxes. As this market grows, we look for the TV market alone to use more than 100 million Rambus chips a year.”

Tom, amazing in a way--a thread is created for you by Uncle Frank--for a # of months you don't post on it much but eventually you do and it becomes one of the most popular threads on SI--eventually when it gets too disrupted we go off and make a different moderated thread, and the old thread kind of dies a slow death as is often the case, but then it is resurrected and one of the main subjects is:

You!
Your predictions.
Your motives.
Your "followers"
Their fates and fortunes.
Potshots at some of the others on this thread.

Its really pretty funny, although it's amazing people take the time to bother themselves about it.

Anyway....you know how wishy washy I was on rambus this summer and fall. But MY psychology on it has changed this week. I feel a shifting of the tide, that its time is upon us. I'm taking a long position sometime this week, hope the NAZ dips again so I can get a great price. I can hear that gorilla growling. I know you'd recommend options but the time frame on it, especially with uncertain economy, is something unpredictable, so I think I'm just going for the shares themselves.

Jilly

V,

it amazed me how INTENTLY your detractors follow and STUDY you; save/collect your posts; wait for the chance to pounce. It is almost pathetic. Why wouldn't they just hop on over to another thread if they don't like what they read? How many threads at SI? Thousands??

Expansive minds like to discuss "ideas".
Average minds like to ponder "things".
Mediocre minds like to discuss "people".

(oops, just discussed "people"............oh well...)

Yup

Well so much for the Bush time capsule. As it is now obvious the market's reaction to the news is not good.

Best of holidays for you and your family as well.
