I am watching the court proceedings this morning in Tallahassee on CNN...this particular hearing is a contest of the votes cast in some counties in Florida...as a lawyer, this is like watching the World Series or the Superbowl of litigation...From what i have read and heard of the various court actions that have been commenced, Gore actually has a fairly arguable legal objection to the results of the Florida election, however, the appeal and contestation time lines are so short, to make it nearly impossible for any remedy to have any practical effect...If there was more time AND there are actually some more votes to be found for GORE, i have no doubt he would prevail...It's going down to the wire...not good for the markets obviously...We should (mark that well) have that relief rally everybody keeps talking about(for more than a day, LOL)
