except the laws allow for recounting at the request of the candidate. you would have to change the election laws after the election, just as repubs accuse the dems of trying to do. of course republicans are trying to change the election law by getting state election hand counts declared unconstitutional in federal court. it is most interesting that every time one side accuses the other, later their position reverses, and their previous position is shown to be hypocritical. its happened so many times I can't keep track.
