Exactly, and the funny thing is, when I post something as simple as this describing Gore's actions, it's indisputable. They know it, you know it, I know it, and anyone who's paid attention to events knows it. It's the main reason they stopped debating the points and moved on to another poster. Fact: Gore tried to alter the vote of the state of Florida by carefully selecting only counties which favored his candidacy. Anything else describing Gore's actions is simply spin. If Gore were truly confident he won the state of Florida, he would have chosen a fair and equitable path to determine the outcome manually. He chose not to. Then the question becomes, why? And the answer is obvious. Deep down, Gore and his team really didn't believe he won the state of Florida, and felt the only way in which to achieve the objective, was to steal it. The onus of a re-count is always placed on the person losing the election. After two re-counts, Gore had the "responsiblity" to prove the electronic recounts were flawed, when measured in a fair and objective way. Gore chose not to, because he knew he lost Florida. Bush, seeing this charade of fairness, 'rightly' attempted to prevent Gore from stealing the election. That was his "responsiblity". Ethics and character matter when selecting a President. And Gore chose to follow clinton down the path of unethical behavior, and win the election with a ruse. It didn't work, he got caught in his own spin game. And has shown the Democrat party what frauds they truly are.
