Phil Beck, Bush's lawyer just destroyed Gore's witness: Nicholas Hengartner and any credibility left of the Gore Lieberman team.

Phil Beck said: "You can see that in your sworn affidavit, the proffer Gore's lawyers submitted to this court, as well as to the Florida Supreme Court, was not true, was it?
The witness replied: "It was a mistake."
Beck said: "When you signed the sworn affidavit; you were relying on the Gore Lieberman team to give you the facts, weren't you?
Yes.

This witness is an associate professor in Statistics at Yale University. English is not his first language and he is not an American citizen. Wonder what his chances are now. He is a victim of the Gore Lieberman ruthless sobs. They lied to him. Too bad for this young guy.

Lawyers filed one of his drafts of statistical analysis of undervotes in the Florida Supreme Court without his knowledge.

This witness claimed the undervote in the Presidential election in 2000 and less votes in the 1998 Palm Beach Senate than in the 1998 governor's race was due to a problem with punch card machines not recording votes in column one. He showed less votes in the 2000 Presidential race when punch cards were used than when optical scanning machines were used in all Florida counties.

In a sworn affidavit; he stated that the Palm Beach Senate race was in column one and the Gubernatorial race was in column two. The Witness said that there were less votes in column one than in column two.

IT TURNS OUT THAT THE SENATE RACE WAS IN COLUMN TWO AND THERE WERE MORE VOTES IN COLUMN ONE THAN IN COLUMN TWO.

BUT THE GORE LIEBERMAN TEAM TOLD HIM THE OPPOSITE.

GORE LIEBERMAN ARE DISGUSTING LIARS.

In his sworn affidavit he said that because there were less votes in column one than in column two; that indicated that there is a problem with the system recording votes in column one. He said this suggests that the voting machine was not recording all the votes in column One. He stated that the problem lies not with the people but with the voting machine. He said not withstanding a closer inspection of the ballot in his affidavit; but he never actually saw the ballot.

The Gore Liberman team never showed him the 1998 ballot; so he never inspected it as he claimed. In his draft that the gore team submitted to the Florida Supreme Court; without telling him, they omitted his statement " While intuitively obviously, further study is required. "

Now he says he made a mistake and that the Senate race was the "second race" but first column; so he probably was aware that he was lying.

If the media doesn't report this; they are no better than fascist countries who control what the public is allowed to hear.
