I am not a lawyer, but I believe this is the appropriate time for a person to contest the election if he or she decides to do so, but I don't know how much time a candidate has to do so. I believe The Electoral College meets on December 16th or 18th.

Last week I heard on PBS that a former Miami Mayor was dismissed from office. I don't know his name and I don't know if Miami had a new election, but I believe the problem for his dismissal had to do with voter fraud but that is a guess on my part. Still, the reason for his dismissal had to do with a voter problem as far as I can tell. Wish I knew the circumstances but the news item passed by so quickly that I didn't catch the details.

<So it's obvious that Gore would rather wage war by lawyers than concede. I hope public opinion WHIPSAWS against him, royally. This just proves
what we suspected all along...he's just like Clinton and will do ANYTHING to get into or stay in power. It makes me sick, actually, to see all those
lawyers.>

Daryl-- I'm curious about your opinion of the republicans suing for a hand-count of ballots in New Mexico? I think they are entitled to determine if the election was accurate since we know that hand-counting is the most valid procedure for determining the election.
