rock...I think they put Lock limit buffers (and other subtle gaming devices)...to give NASDAQ another advantage...(I think it will eventually backfire on them) ... SUPERSOES (is a fearful projection)...as an example...(everytime they change the game...It just offers more opportunities to Jack the system)..

If everybody runs to the same game...and blows a couple of BIG shorts out of the water...It will totally change the psychology...

Only a matter of time.

rock...i think if you short here...you have to short very small and be very nimble....otherwise your asking for it....

(going bust on the short side)...It only has to happen once...and people don't think it will happen to them.....

Rocklobster; It only hurts for a little while! Whether it happens next month or the end of next year, the market WILL recover. In the long term, buying stocks in solid companies at these levels is the thing to do. I agree with Impristine....anyone that has not shorted CMGI by now has missed the boat.Shorting on the pops (IMO) is only a good idea if it is a large unsustainable pop that is not going to be bolstered by further positive news. Last year some crack-head broke into my house and stole my crystal ball, so I won't even attempt it. cb

Do you still have the same opinion of Greenspan after his speech today (Tuesday) and the huge NASD rally afterwards?
