Dave, you keep asking me to do that "research" I really do not have the time, nor the inclination, you are "forcing my hand. Here are the salient questions and what I was told (and not checked the veracity thereof): Clinton (and Newt Gingrich) practice their religious beliefs under one kind or another Southern Baptist Church. They both had what we, normal mortal would call, "extra marital affairs", but they involved in both cases forms of "oral sex", where there is no penetration of the female organ by the male organ. When such lack of penetration is involved, their respective Church do not consider these extra-marital indiscretions as "adultery", thus the stance taken by Clinton "I did not have sex with that woman". Dave (and I as well) would like to know if indeed adultery is committed only when penetration is involved. If any wise guy here can shed light on this, it would be appreciated. By the way, Dave, on the Lewinski tapes, she often exclaims, "but I never had sex with him" (probably in frustration <G>) By the way, Dave, even if Gingrich was right, and he could claim without perjury as to not having committed adultery, I still think that the question of whether it is a "sexual relation" may not be answered. I know of some religions were actual sex (including penetration) by a married man, not with his wife, is still not considered adultery. I hope that SI is not read by too many under age children (VBG). I am not sure that the filters available would filter this post out. Zeev
