Haqi,

I'm not sure he is painting quite as wide a brush stroke as you seem to feel. I also think we need some standards for the federal elections as well but only on the federal level. That way no state like Florida can have different rules in each county as to what counts as a vote and what doesn't. That is the basic problem with all this, not the recount but how that count would be conducted.
