Just idle speculation on future applications that can't be cached....what % do you think they could be? The "telepresence" models would eat up huge amounts of bandwidth, not to mention real-time medical data transmission, etc.

I don't think we have even begin to conceive what the next generation network will carry. The idea that most of it will be static cached content as opposed to personally created data bursts seems questionable, however.

The Internet we use in 2000 was largely unimaginable in 1990. Calculating user loads in 2010 could be equally futile.
