Jerome,

Regarding your comments about Florida Republicans (in their legislature) signing their own death warrant:

They said the SAME thing about Republicans voting to impeach Clinton. It didn't happen. 2 years is an ETERNITY in politics. And 4 years, (the Bush or Gore term) is TWO eternities. All these predictions of a President without a mandate and politicians "paying the price" when up for reelection is just baloney. Once this passes we'll be onto the next thing, good or bad. And the thing closest to the NEXT election will have the most impact on voters.

Gore said yesteday on 60 minutes that in Seminole county, voter registration numbers were added to absentee ballots of republicans only due to a software glitch but democratic absentee ballots were thrown out. Does anyone know if the latter part of this is true or just democrat spin? It was my belief that republicans were again proactive while democrats were asleep at the wheel. But if i am wrong i would like to know because that charge if true smacks of fraud.
