Amazon figures show that this is the case at least for books and CD's. Read the SEC fillings with a toothcomb like Glenn does and you'll find the relevant figures...

I've read all the filings. US Books/CDs/DVDs increased 33% year/year ($300MM to $400MM) last quarter. Hardly a decline.

This established segment will likely grow only 20%-30% per year over the next 5 years. The additional growth will come from new segments and international expansion.
