The author of that essay (Mccabe) was a world famous writer that was tireless in his efforts to expose the atrocities and dangers of organized religion. His voice is certainly part of the record when it comes to a discussion of God, and that is why he exists on this thread.

I respect someone who has a belief system actively pursued however different from mine. I don't respect a belief system that is simply anti-anti.
