<ot> Good one, Poet ... LOL Your post reminds me of my college days ... there were two fraternities that were, like, the polar extremes a la "Animal House" on campus ... The Delta Tau Deltas -- of which several guys I went to high school with were members -- were the rowdy rebellious bunch. The SAEs were the preppy, clean-cut, future Republicans of America types. Quite a bit of animosity sort of naturally existed between the two. (I was 'independent,' of course, which meant anti-panhellenic altogether ... <g>) One night (of course, it was a week/school night -- every day was Party Day for the Delta Tau Deltas <g>) they all got drunk and proceeded to shoot the windows out of the SAE house ... LOL! Right on the main street leading up to the campus. This huge three-story pristine antebellum-style mansion. Fortunately, no one was injured. They got away with it, too. Don't know if and/or how the SAEs retaliated. Will ask at next high school reunion. Another memorable event from those times was the semester that the Delts established a 'goal' to fill a garbage can with marijuana. I'm talking about a 33-gallon size container that was placed in the middle of the living room for 'display' and 'motivational' purposes. They were so excited about it all -- they really 'worked' hard to fill it -- LOL! Would have been interesting to review the GPAs of the members that year -- not to mention their bank account balances. Sigh. Those were the carefree days, my friends. Somehow, a few of them became attorneys ... LOL. Several dropped out of school altogether, of course. What a crew. Just Porchin' ... 'b-i-a' ###
