Slider....the culture argument is common but it is flawed. If everything was equal and fair...the stats would be the same for both races. Much of "culture" is forced, at least to some degree. Your "culture" and mine gives us tremendous options. Other "cultures" don't. Also, to compare blacks who come willing from other countries with those born here is irrelevant. Many who come here willingly can come here only because they are already well off. Personal responsibility...which is very important...still does not provide one with good schools, safe homes, or parents which can truly provide a real safty net. I spoke with a young man awhile back who blasted our welfare system. He was attending college and was driving a new car. I asked him who was paying the bills. He said his parents. I told him he was very lucky to have such a wonderful welfare system that would put him miles ahead of the race before it even begun. He didn't understand. I know his parents well. They had a similar system.
