Kenneth, they just don't get it. The S.Ct. found a clever way to make a decision by not deciding anything. The integrity of the Florida Court will be restored, nobody is crying foul at the U.S. S.Ct. and the Court did not create dangerous new precedent on Federal review of state court decisions. I am quite impressed.

Kenneth,
It's a Bush victory not because the decision was overturned -- it wasn't -- but because remanding the decision back to the Fla. Supreme Court takes time, and time is on Bush's side.

It's always easier to use the courts to delay something than to get something done fast.

Ken, then what is the answer to the US SC's question?

I get the impression that this must already be known, given your positive take on the situation.

I'm surprised that the US SC needed to ask any questions of such a perfect group of jurists...
