Re: Mutual King Big on Tech (note: CIEN, BRCD, CSCO)

"Akron, Ohio-based Oak manages about $9 billion in three mutual funds -- White Oak Growth Stock, Pin Oak Aggressive Stock and Red Oak Technology Select -- and a total of $30 billion overall.

"Some $4.92 billion of that, or 16% of the firm's assets under management, is invested in a single stock -- Cisco Systems, developer and manufacturer of the switches and other gear that comprises the Internet's backbone.

"A total of $10.39 billion, or more than a third of assets, is concentrated in the top five names, which also include EMC Corp., Ciena Corp., Merck & Co. and American International Group. Some $15.57 billion is invested in its 10 biggest positions, which include Intel Corp., Brocade Communication Systems, Citigroup, Applied Materials and Linear Technology Corp."

Believe Greg highly respects Oak. BTW, excellent analysis as usual on election SITREP, JW.
