In response to Judge Sauls' ruling that a partial recount is not allowed under Florida State law, the Gore legal team said that that law only applies to recounts and not contests. Is this another example of legal hairsplitting?

I just caught a snip of Barry Richard saying that Judge Sauls "even thought of something that [Richard] didn't think of."

When asked what it was, Richard said, "I'm not going to tell you."

Any idea what it was??
