I have a lot of respect for anyone who's got the guts to do what you did I thank you but also point out that it didn't take guts to do what I did, just competency at your job and confidence in yourself and everyone else that knew their job and would do it without fail. That is truly the heart of military training. Gut's is going short JDSU at 150 because you think this price is crazy compared to the FA. Gut's is strapping yourself to a rocket aboard the mercury capsule and saying I think that this will be alright. Gut's is meeting your girlfriends father when you have just brought her home late. I wasn't pioneering anything but rather doing a job that had been done by many and is being done by many now. I truly thank you for the thought though. I would also add an E mail from a Lib friend of mine whom also served, and I don't point this at anyone in particular but just put it out as food for thought. While I was a civilian...This liberal thinks that I served my country quite well and have a lot of pride in what I believe were true accomplishments toward the security of this country. And I have some cherished acknowledgements to that effect from the military persons that worked under me. So, it kind of pisses me off, when I see liberals-Nazis-communists-traitors repeated in some permutation and never do I see a even a single post from a conservative that says "tone it down" let alone there are liberals who do love their country. There are plenty of liberals who serve their country quite well, IMO I think that this man states this quite well IMO. I could only hope that everyone would think of a service person over this holiday and say a prayer or something for them. I think Ann Landers has a place you can send a card that will be assigned to a service person. Many of our's will be somewhere other then home over this holiday and we should not only thank them but remember them. I know as a young man underwater in the Med for Christmas saving the world was a very depressing thing with a young one at home and a wife alone. There are many, many that will go through this in the next few weeks. Jeff
