I've tried peanut butter in the past and cheddar cheese seems to be the best by far

I've seen two kinds of traps; one with a metal trip and the other with a yellow plastic trip that has holes in it. The yellow trip is the one to use with peanut butter...cram it into the holes and the little critter will trip it almost every time.
