The country will be fine. If Clinton could "lead" it for 8 years, an honest but simple person will excel.

Yeah, God forbid any president should interfere with the limitless expansion of the public sector and the Democrats buying off of their constituencies with money stolen from the rest of us. Such a holy crusade shouldn't be delayed for even 2-4 years. The cause of liberty has a pesky way of surviving even the New Democratic Nazi's agenda.

Maybe you liberals should go mess up somebody else's country for a couple years. Might give us time to develop a spray or something for you...

I can't disagree with that. I think there is a very strong possibility that this whole thing will solidify the more conservative liberals and the more liberal conservatives. In other words, the more radical members on each side will either be ignored by everyone, or will be forced to take a more subdued viewpoint.

Considering the circumstances that we have been thrown into here, I think it might actually be a positive thing.

Take this twistoid "conservative" that called Gore a Nazi. If everyone were a conservative, he might have an audience. As it is, in the atmosphere we are in right now, the more rational among us can see that fanning the fire is probably self-destructive.

The most annoying thing to me is the media constantly pouring gasoline on the flames. I shudder to think what they would have been saying about Judge Sauls today if he were a Republican.
