Having no personal doubt about your beliefs is not the same as claiming that your beliefs are "known facts" about which you can speak "with authority," which is what you were doing.

Among the "known facts" about which you speak with authority are many contentions, or articles of faith, that (it is an actual known fact) have not been proved.

Still, believe what you will, of course. Whatever gets you through the night, Chris.

You are not in an unusual position, you know. We all believe things that we can not claim are in the category of "known facts." It's fine, dude.
