byhiselo ... re commercial hedgers and S&P futures ... maybe Aaron Task knows what he is talking about, but from what I know, it is not futures prices that 'drive' the S&P 500 Index (the SPX), but that the actual prices of the 500 stocks in the index that determine the index price, which in turn determine futures prices. *If you or anyone else has a more accurate or better understanding of how that works, I would like to hear it.* Aaron Task should also know that, as of about two months ago, the Commitment of Traders data is released every Friday. My opinion is that he is clueless, but I could obviously be wrong. Ken Wilson
