Hi Greg,

They lost every spin battle they ever engaged in with Clinton...every single one.
Yeah, yeah, the problem with Gore is that he's such a straight arrow. Foolishly, he reintroduced his views in "Earth in the Balance" into the fray last Earth Day. Gave the jerks who run www.algore.org a way to parody the man. I'm investigating that bunch for fraud. They have no right to that root designation (i.e. ".org") isasmuch as they are clearly a commercial enterprise, as well as being lying dissemblers. Any of you Republicans around here care to indicate to me that you know what the 'root' is? I doubt it. I've seen no indication that any Republican on this thread has the least bit of a clue as to how this communication system we chatter on actually works. God help us, they insult Gore because he had the audacity to say he was instrumental in the enabling legislation that tranformed the Arpanet into NSFnet. They say he boasted he was the "Father of the Internet". Poor Al, he has a tin political ear. He's a policy wonk who refuses to think in sound bites. To his great discomfort at the present moment.
Well, he'll probably be remembered as Adlai Stevenson is, as a very high IQ individual who couldn't muster the vote.

But, there is just one possible monkey wrench in all of this. Hehehe. It's the "Rockin' Chair Judge". So labeled by the propagandists of the Right. Funny thing is, Nikki Carter sits in the same government issue leather chair that Shamblin' Sanders Sauls sits in. Make no mistake, the Right is even lying about the chair a Judge sits in. This is hysterical. They would lie if some one at their execution said they could get off scot free if they would just tell the truth. They are simply pathological. Lying is just more fun to the Right than telling the truth. And, in the back of their devious little minds, they expect to be rewarded. And often time they are. It's that old silver spoon syndrome, writ large with His Illegitimacy, Prince George II.

So, I mean no disrepect, but I've made a study of Judge Carter's body language. Bad juju for Barry Rich-mans and his cast of clowns. These turkeys even demanded the Seminole case be brought before a jury. What a howler. Reminds me of the creative lawyer in SF who tried to get a TRO on a mechanic's lien. He got laughed out of court as well.

More, when I ready.

This thing is not over. Not by a long shot.

Best, Ray

I know I asked someone this question, and I thought it was you.

Do you think that Gore would have got his manual recount in Miami-Dade if he had been willing to accept torn chads, hanging chads, and chads with clear stylus marks, but not dimpled chads?

It's all becoming a blur - where did Gore get an order telling the board not to count until a judge told them what standard to use? Was that Palm Beach or Miami-Dade?

I said I thought he didn't get the manual recount because he overreached himself. Do you disagree?

And by the way, it wasn't Bush who stopped the manual recount in Miami-Dade.
