There is no EDGE. And you won't see it.

You've been drinking Tero-water! GPRS is more like 15-20 Kbps in real life, at Nokia's own admission. Like another poster said, EDGE will never exist. And AT&T? What the hell else would they choose when DoCoMo hands them $10 billion and says "Will you be my friend?"

>> I don´t understand where the term "capitulation" comes from

Since you're a self described citizen of the EU, perhaps this will help:

Deutsch (German): Kapitulation
Français (French): capitulation
Español (Spanish): capitulación, rendición
Italiano (Italian): capitolazione

>> everyone and everyone´s uncle, Auntie Frank and even Diamondhead´s gassy auntie know that TDMA´s development path is also to EDGE to WCDMA.

What I know is,

TDMA is a legacy product which is on it's final legs.
EDGE, rather than being a path to WCDMA, is a feeble and ineffective attempt to prolong its lifespan.
Your prognostications over the past few years have proven to be ill founded and inaccurate.
You use the standard Thread Moron tools of mindless repetition and taunting to gain attention.

What I suspect is,

You are a glib youngster, which is the typical profile of a Thread Moron.
You live in the UK, and completed your schooling at age 16 when you failed the exams that would have qualified you for higher education.
You are on the dole, and one of your aunts or uncles gave you an old computer so you could develop a marketable skill.
You have little or no money in the market, and measure your gains by the number of people who you can bait into arguing with you.

I won't waste any more time on you, Rajala.

Prosperous investing,
af

Raj, are you arguing with the market again? Let me give you a little piece of advice. Arguing with the market is very costly. The market's opinion is the ONLY opinion that matters. I don't think this advice will help you however, because you won't give up your 10 shares of ERICY. Please, Raj, I beg you for your own financial health, for God's sakes, quit arguing with the market-it's very expensive. As Ronald Reagan used to say- "there you go again"
