I am amazed that this hasn't happened but I guess the wealth effect of the stock market crash has really impacted discretionary spending

If AG notice and worry about the slow down, it is already very serious, IMO. If he lower the rate in the coming meeting, my guess will be the market would have a short term rally and then go down further.

To be honest I am scared $hitle$$ right now and will remain that way until the January call. I do think Q1 will be the bottom given
Greenspan's comments yesterday but I just don't know how deep the hole will be.


Q1 should be the bottom for tech companies with positive earnings growth. For those that don't -- let's say, for example, Intel -- the bottom is nowhere in sight.
