Greg, I find myself in the odd position of defending the truth of the bible here.

This is correctly identified as a False Dichotomy. For example, "If my shoes are too tight then I had anchovies for breakfast." Not a logical statement even though it is correctly framed. The JWs could be right that there was only a spiritual resurrection and that it wasn't necessary for Jesus to get up and walk around dead like a zombie, YET all the rest of the bible is true.
