LOF, here is an example of the repeal of the Republican Revolution. After the 1994 election, the State of Washington had 7 Republican Congressional Reps and 2 Democratic Congressional Reps. Now, we have 6 Democratic Reps and 3 Republican Reps. After the 94 election, the Republicans had big margins in the House and Senate. They now have a razor thin margin in the House and the Senate is split 50/50. They were successful with only one issue - welfare reform and only because of a booming economy. Terms limits is dead. Tom Foley told them it was unconstitutional and sure enough, he was right. The voters decided they were too extreme. Good lesson from George W Bush. Don't take any advice from Tom DeLay.
