Ken, That just isn't true. About 70% of the Contract With America became law. The only major portions that failed were the "Wise Use" provisions (killed by Republicans in committee), Term Limits, the Line Item Veto (killed by Supreme Court), and the Balanced Budget Amendment (failed by 1 vote in the Senate). In fact, if you look at the economy, it didn't take off till 1994 when the Republicans took charge. -John
