TG,

I wouldn't compare Randy Weaver to Koresh in any way. Federal agents fired on Weaver's son without warning while he and a friend were hunting. Friend fired back and killed an agent and things went to hell in a hand basket from there. Weaver's wife was shot by a sniper who didn't recognize her through his sniper scope while holding a baby. I have shot sniper rifles with that exact scope and if you believe that I have a bridge that I could sell you.

I am starting to sound like an ultra right kind of guy so I will shut up, but they are both example's of our government not using the best of judgement in situation's.

Jeff

>>Is the government responsible for a madman that chooses to burn himself and others?<<

I think this is called "begging the question." What am I supposed to say after you set it up like that? Yes? LOL!

My question was, was the federal standoff at Waco the best use of those government resources? Did the tax-payers get their money's worth?

Maybe the money would have been better spent, say, to pick a fairly neutral person, going after former Louisiana Governor Edwin Edwards. Or maybe the money would have been better spent, say, going after Russian money-launderers who infiltrated United State banks.
