There are probably a lot of decent people; but they are misguided. I think honest ones will feel very foolish when the inevitable books, and the truth, come out.

I caught a little bit of Diane Feinstein this evening, as I made my way from the kitchen to the front door, and she was saying, "we need to count all the votes," and was specifically referencing the partial recount of Miami-Dade. And I was wondering, does she know that partial recounts are illegal? And does she know that the precincts which were counted voted majority Gore, 90-10? And does she know that if all of Miami-Dade's precincts were counted the total would be more in favor of Bush? I think she does, and I think she doesn't care. She doesn't want all the votes to be counted, just votes for Gore. Too bad for democracy. There is no middle ground of decency, it's scorched earth, cut throat or die.
