You miss my point. I said QCOM is a wonderful company and certainly a leader in its field. So what? It was last year and it didn't prevent the stock from declining 150 points.

I'm signing off and I'll let QCOM's price do the talking for me.

Do you anything about Qualcomm?

Why are some of you so d*mn defensive around here? The guy said he likes the stock, doesn't like the price. What on earth is wrong with that? It's selling at a near-triple digit PE, for cryin' out loud! Some of y'all are acting like you're three years old and the bully down the street just stuck a screwdriver into your Barney doll.

Is *no* price to rich for this stock? Would you be buying it tomorrow if it was trading at, say, $2k? Probably not, which makes the difference between the two of you - and with me - one of degree, not of kind.

Most people on this thread who aren't going long now have been quite specific in stating they like the company and the prospects. Some of us just happen to think the stock is overpriced, especially considering the way the macroeconomic situation is deteriorating significantly.

Ask yourself this: what do you think will happen to the market when if it turns out the surplus has already turned back into a defecit?

<QCOM will be lucky to be at this price a few years from now.>

Do you anything about Qualcomm? About CDMA? About what's going to happen over the next few years?>

In reply to your message #89274, here's my response.

No, I don't know anything about CDMA other than I have a Qualcomm mobile phone with CDMA. But I do know something about stocks and I know an overpriced one when I see it.

When I see hundreds of posts a day on a message board, it usually means the top is in for that stock.

And BTW, to the other dummies on this board, as I said, I'll let QCOM's price do the talking for me.
