Hi Ray,
My observation on AMCC was based on short term resistance which is around 70. It's got to run thru that and hold above which would show buying far outweighing selling. We are not seeing that yet, and after INTC earnings comments tonight, we may NOT see it for awhile. Another one in a similar vein is QCOM which has just broken through medium term resistance of 100. However, I also watch the broader market. I have to say, I agree...not looking pretty here right now. I may have to go some on the short side as well.

Ray, In an earlier post you seemed to be looking for another hard dip around the ides of March. Do you see this being inspired by other than personal income tax selling, or is it another inspiration? If it is personal income tax selling why do you suppose it is so concentrated around March 15?

By the way if this is going to be a consistent pattern, I am doomed to suffer very bad birthdays for the rest of my investing life. ;-{
