You'd think the republicans would be the ones wanting to do away with the Electoral College, eh?

Does anyone know what would happen if the Leon Country Circuit Judges Nickki Clark and Terry Lewis rule DIFFERENTLY on the absentee ballot litigation in Seminole & Martin Counties?

It is hard to conceive that Nickki Clark will have an ounce of objectivity since she apparently dislikes Jeb Bush and is a Democryte.

Should they rule differently on essentially the same issue, wouldn't the legitimacy of each ruling be in question, e.g. in the future, which ruling would set precedent?

What is Bush's recourse if ruling is not in his favor? Back to the Florida Supreme Court again?

It also amazes me that most of the public (due to media spin) still incorrectly believes that the ID numbers were added to BALLOTS, when it was ABSENTEE BALLLOT REQUESTS that had ID's added!

Christopher, Cobalt, Lml: Any legal perspective on the above questions?
